Governor Sindh Mr.Mohammad Zubair has said that Pakistanis living abroad have a huge responsibility of not only safeguarding the interests of Pakistan but also to propagate the reality about the Country when and where possible
This he said while talking with the goodwill ambassador of New York,
Engr. Agha Muhammad Saleh who called on him at Governor House.
Matters regarding Pakistan’s relations with western world,CPEC and its impact on Contry’s economy ,current domestic political situation,conflicts and way forward were discussed on the occasion.
Governor Sindh emphasized on extensive diplomatic endeavors as a way forward to alley the suspensions and concerns on China-Pak Economic Corridor.
He also stressed the need to create opportunities to harness sizeable number of overseas Pakistanis living in Europe and North America.
He asserted that National Narrative Pakistan was of immense importance and it is need of the hour that all institutions, pillars of State and Political Parties should be on one page for issues relating to National Security, peace, progress, prosperity and optimal utilization of vast and diverse human resource particularly youth of the Country.
Governor urged the Pakistani Americans to act as a bridge between the Nations and work to bring the people of both the countries closer.
Governor praised Agha Saleh for coining the name Diversity Plaza in New York that has become a reason to celebrate America in its 240th year of Independence among the other reasons that makes America great. He also praised his young daughter Fatima who co authored the Peace and Blessing of All resolution that became the Legeslative Resolution at State Senate of New York.
Eng.Agha Saleh praised Governor’s initiative for Karchi's Peace and economy which is prosperous at a higher rate then past.
