Karachi March 26: Governor Sindh Mr. Mohammad Zubair has said that any naition is throughly dependent on its human resource and specially persons having technical experties in different fields.
This he said while speaking  at an event to distribute tool kits amongst youth who have completed  training  in varous disciplines under the Prime Minister's Youth Skill Development Programme (PMYSDP)here today at Governor House.
This programme is  being conducted by National Vaccontinal and Techincal Training Commission (NVTTC) throughout Pakistan.Executive Director NVTTC Mr. Zulfiqar Ahmed Cheema ,Director General NVTTC Mr. Abdul Raheem Shaikh and President  Kacrachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI)Mr. Shamim Ahmed Firpo were also present on the occasion.
He said that NVTCC has been assigned an emormos responsibilty of preparaing skilled youth in various fields which it is doing efficiently.It has completed 2 phases of the programme and as many as 50000 unskilled youth are being trained is various fields during the 3rd phase, he observed.
He said that this training has helped hundereds of youth in getting an employment in their trained fields which has in turn helped in decreasing numbers of unemployed youth.This trained work force would not only be financially sound but would also contribute towords overall economic devepment of the country, he opined.
Governor Sindh said that youth were  our future as they are 60% of the total population .The use of their abilities and skills in a right direction is  of utmost importance with regards to making Pakistan economically stable at prosperous, he added.
Mr. Mohammad Zubair congraluted NVTTC for choosing standard insititutions for providing training to youth under PM's programme.
He also commended  the fact that almost 50000 unskilled  youth have been trained in various fields.
He asked industrialists and trade bodies to employee trained youth either  on a apprentice ship or permanently  so as to utilize their skills in a befiting manner.They should also establish vocational training centres at their own for helping in production of trained work force he added and said that Public Private Partnership was needed to accelerate this sector.
He also lauded free of cost training to youth and provision of monthly stipend and tool kits to successful students.Youth should avoid this opportunity  of getting vacational and technical training to make their future bright and enhance chances of getting suitable eraly job,he advised.
He said that for making our country strong and prosperous each and every pakistani must contribute according to their capacity and resources.Our collective efforts  in this regard could yield tremendous results, he concluded.
Executive Director NVTTC Mr. Zulfiqar Ahmed Cheema addressing on the occasion said that training according to job market demand was of immense importance and NVTTC has designed their training modules accordingly. Skills competitions amoungs trainees have been a huge success as these are expending and enhancing their knowledge to a great extend, he added.
Mr. Cheema further informed that from next year the number of trainee youth would be doubled i.e 100000
President KCCI Mr. Shami Ahmed Firpo said that Karachi Chamber would extend all assistance  in helping trained youth fir getting  employement in their trained filed.
As many in 60 students trained in various fields received tool kits from  Governor Sindh on the occasion.
