Karachi March 15: Governor Sindh Mr. Mohammad Zubair has said that Pak-Iran relations are time tested and based os mutual respect. They have increased and cemented throughout past years.
This he said while talking with newly appointed Consul General of Iran in Karachi Mr. Ahmed Muhammadi here today at Governor House.
While discussing the potential of investment for foreign investors in Karachi Governor Sindh said that due to strenuous efforts of ours law enforcement agencies Karachi was in far better shape as compared to 2013. The operation against criminals and terrorists have made Karachi a safe place for investors and it is returning to its past glory gradually, he opined
Governor Sindh said that investors from Iran should also avail the ideal opportunities of investment in Pakistan which are guaranteed to be financially beneficial for them. CPEC is a game changer and its projects would not only accelerate pace of industrialization but would also create thousands of new jobs, he added
Governor Sindh lauded the role of Iran in providing relief to the masses of province in natural disasters and other eventualities in the past. The Iranian relief teams rushed immediately in 2010 and 2011 floods in Sindh, he observed.
Consul General of Iran said that Iran would continue to help and assist in infrastructure development in Sindh.
